Beverage cooling with ice bars

Preparation:

Each ice bar needs the preparation of a 100 litre volume container filled up with bottles and stored in a cool place:

Execution:

Execution    2 hours before the event will start:
  • Put on the gloves.
  • Put the ice bar on the bottles.
  • Crush the ice bar with the ice pick (not too small, size of tennis ball).
  • Spread the ice pieces between the bottles.
  • Do not add water or salt (causes too strong cooling and melting).
  • Envelop the container in blankets.
